Fantasy 40/40: Kitchen Drawer: Jay-Z: “Empire State of Mind” – The Blueprint 3

Kitchen Drawer: Friday’s Random Notes

Jacoby Ellsbury – He has been placed on the DL – he has four ribs with hairline fractures.  Ellsbury is going to miss some time; add Jeremy Hermida in mixed leagues if you haven’t already.  Josh Reddick and Darnell McDonald should be added in AL only leagues as stopgaps – McDonald already has 2 HR. Kitchen Drawer: I Now Love Colby Rasmus

I recently received this video in an email from one of my league mates, thanks Danny P… It’s like a bad car accident; you don’t want to stare but can’t help but watch.  I feel almost embarrassed for this girls’ parents… But I do love Colby Rasmus.  Please.  Watch AND listen.  PLEASE.  If you know [...]

Jimmy Rollins was the latest casualty this season as J ROLL was placed on the 15-day DL.  Jerey Manual will use Juan Castro and he will replace Rollins on the field for the Phillies and should be added in NL only leagues if you need a stopgap.

Kitchen Drawer: Reyes Returns

Jose Reyes made his long-awaited return to the New York Mets lineup Saturday afternoon with no hiccups or setbacks.  The energetic shortstop batted leadoff and went 1-for-4 with a line drive single up the middle in his 2010 debut.  He looked good.  Healthy.  Active.  Many people were skeptical about Reyes’ health and hamstring coming into [...]

Kitchen Drawer: Player News: 04.09.10

Some news around the diamond that will affect some players on some fantasy rosters.

MILWAUKEE - Jim Edmonds has started two out of three games in right field over Corey Hart.  Edmonds figures to play against right-handers while Hart will start against southpaws.  This is not good news for Hart owners as they drafted an OF projected [...]

Kitchen Drawer: And So It Begins

Super-uber stud prospect/man-cruch Jason Heyward went yard in his first AB against Carlos Zambrano today for the Atlanta Braves.  It was a 3-run shot in the bottom of the first that was a bullet to right field – with his parents in the stands to enjoy his special moment.  Talk about making an entrance.

Kitchen Drawer: You Know How They Say…

You know how they say never talk to a pitcher during a no-hitter or talk about it during a game?  Well…. Game is tied 3-3 thanks to Nelson Cruz…. Yeah….
