As I see it now, that’s the rest of my top 40. Many will disagree, [...]
I’ve already posted my TOP 10 and 11-20. Here are 21-30. Once again, these are my early rankings as I see them now. I’ve already made changes to my 1-20 and I’m sure this list will see tweaking at some point as well. Here’s an early look at my rankings – subject to change.
19. Mark [...]
I started listing my early overall rankings on Friday providing my TOP 10 so far. I continue it today with 11-20. These rankings will change when my official projections come out. Basically, a rough draft on a cocktail napkin, this is how they stack up so far.
I’ve been changing my 4 thru 16 picks like [...]
Unless you’re a Packer or Steelers fan, you’re football season is over.
The NBA is up and running, but lets get real, the season really doesn’t start until the playoffs begin which is sometime this summer.
What’s left?
Pitchers and catchers are set to report in less than three weeks, that’s what. And so it’s time to start [...]
This is the last post I have regarding 2010 before I start on my 2011 projections.
One of the first posts I had for Fantasy 40/40, you can find my 2010 pitcher projections here. It was an average of a couple different websites (ESPN, CBS and Yahoo) with and a tweak here and there. Some guys on [...]
These are the final 2010 fantasy baseball rankings for the outfielders. Speed is the theme here. Lots of guys who stole lots of bases. Also, the overall average age is coming down a bit, with older veterans getting weeded out. Something to think about as 2011 drafts approach.
The number in the parentheses is their pre-season, [...]
Who out there really saw 54 HR coming? I didn’t. I don’t even think Jose did. But, Mr. Bautista was the number one ranked third baseman in fantasy baseball in 2010. He led the majors in HRs and was second to Miguel Cabrera in RBI. Will he repeat in 2011? Probably not. He is, however, [...]
This is a position that turned out to be thin at the elite level and full of middle of the road types. The number in the parentheses is their pre-season, Fantasy 40/40, shortstop ranking; I only went up to 30. Note: The players listed qualified at SS before the season (20 games played last year) or [...]
Robinson Cano NYY (5) – .320-29-109-103-3 in 626 AB. BOOM! Robbie had an MVP caliber season for the Yankees in 2010 – just not better than some guy named Hamilton. Throughout all the slumps and injuries the Bronx Bombers had this year, Cano was always their rock and stabilizer. Right now, I have him ranked [...]
The first base position in 2010 claimed nine of the TOP 100 overall fantasy players at season’s end (ten players if you include Jose Bautista and his four games at first). At a position where depth and options seemed plentiful before the season began, first base became a bit of a let down. Big boys [...]
