About

Hello and welcome to my blog.   My name is Tito and I love baseball.  Actually, Tito is just a college nickname, but that’s what all my friends call me.  I love all the major sports.  I love baseball, music, good food, and movies too.

I live in Phoenix, AZ by way of New Jersey.  I am currently in school, attempting to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree while bartending to pay it off.  Hopefully, I get a “real job” when I’m finished.  Almost there.  Maybe this site can be a springboard to bigger and better things, who knows.

Anyway, baseball is my favorite sport and fantasy baseball is one of my favorite hobbies.  This blog allows me to share my thoughts, views and opinions on both as well as anything else I find interesting.  Something else I find interesting is women and will notice pictures on the site.  This is my “Lady of the Week”.  The Lady changes every Monday with new pictures of her posted daily.  Just a personal touch. I like girls.  I am also new to blogging, this being my first site, so please bear with me if some issues arise. I thank you for your patience in advance.

Moving forward, the “Fantasy” portion of the website name is obvious.  However, I chose the “40/40″ part because of a few reasons.

First, “40/40″ refers to the prestigious 40/40 club in Major League Baseball (40 HR, 40 SB in same year for the uneducated).  There are four members.  Ever.  Elite.  A level I try to maintain in my blogging site by being consistent with daily updates, topics of interest and general fun for the average interested reader.

1988: Jose Canseco OAK (42,40).  1996. Barry Bonds PIT (42,40).  1998. Alex Rodriguez SEA (42,46).  2006. Alfonso Soriano WAS (46,41).

Second, “40/40″ is the type of player I prefer when it comes to fantasy baseball.  30/30, 20/20, you get the idea, players that can hit for power and run with speed, the overall package.  I focus on drafting those type of players – “5-category” fillers.  These guys help you win fantasy leagues and that’s the way I wanted to play as a kid.  Unfortunately, I ran like a rock.

Lastly, “40/40″, is also coincidentally part of a sports bar, Sean “Jay-Z” Carter’s sports lounge, The 40/40 Club.  I am a lifelong fan of his; I listen to his music and attend his concerts whenever I can – I’ve loved his music since his Reasonable Doubt album.  I will, time to time, use his lyrics and song titles in my writing.  I also I pay homage to him by naming my fantasy baseball teams, you guessed it, The 40/40 Club.

Hope you enjoy the site and visit frequently.
