Trade Deadline News: Oswalt to Phillies

- Roy Oswalt was dealt. The Astros hurler will be packing his bags and taking them to the city of Brotherly Love. To PHI for JA Happ and other pieces. VIA ESPN, “sources said the Astros will receive outfielder Anthony Gose as part of the deal.” Ken Rosenthal adds, “that the third player in the deal will be shortstop prospect Jonathan Villar.”
- Scott Podsednik was acquired by the Los Angeles Dodgers for two minor league pieces. He will replace Manny in the lineup until he gets healthy. Should be a couple more weeks. His fantasy value, though, is bound to take a hit eventually since two guys named Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier also patrol their outfield. To read more on the trade, click here.
