2010 PROJECTED STATS & OUTLOOK:
13-9. 3.60 ERA. 1.20 WHIP. 195 INN. 176 K. Johan was once again an elite pitcher at the start of last season. Then the injury bug, more like injury monster came and ate up the Mets squad with Johan fixing his elbow in September. They cleaned out some bone chips and he has been on track this spring to start the season healthy. While I think these numbers are a little soft, I don’t know if he will ever gain his dominance again. I could see 16 Wins with a 3.25 ERA and 200 K – but you never know; those predictions hinge on his health as well as the lineup around him. Then again, it was guys like this that won leagues last year (Greinke, Carpenter, Verlander). Take Santana within the TOP 15 off the board come draft day.
