2010 PROJECTIONS & OUTLOOK:

16-9. 3.31 ERA. 1.16 WHIP. 223.1 INN. 177 K. Although those are good numbers for most pitchers, this is not most pitchers.  These projections seem to be a bit safe, no?  After getting traded this off-season from the Toronto Blue Jays to the Philadelphia Phillies, Halladay switches from the toughest division in baseball to the senior circuit.  He will now face the Nats, Marlins, weak lineups and opposing pitchers within the NL East instead of the Yanks, Sox and DH every start.  He also joins a team with World Series expectations and a potent lineup with Utley, Howard, Werth and Rollins.  I think he is a guarantee for 20 wins in 2010 and arguably the #1 pitcher over Lincecum because of his run support and potential for 25 wins.  Really.
