2010 PROJECTIONS & OUTLOOK:
.279-23-69-68-9 in 481 AB. Reimold has not as hyped as Wieters or Jones, but Nolan came up with a bang and produced while starting for the Orioles. He did eventually slow down and hit that rookie wall – an injury and small tear to an Achilles might do that. The gamer played through it and should start in left for Baltimore in 2010. He might lose some AB’s to Pie and Scott, but not many. Experts are split: Baseball HQ and Bill James seem to think he will start a full year – Chone and Pecota are a little less optimistic about his AB’s. I think his projections are fair; don’t be surprised if he surpasses them.
