2010 PROJECTIONS & OUTLOOK:
12-11. 193 INN. 168 K. 3.26 ERA. 1.31 WHIP. Wandy had a nice year in Houston in ‘09, giving the ‘Stros top of the rotation productivity. His numbers have all been going in the right direction over the last three years – a positive sign. His ERA and WHIP have all decreased while his K per 9 innings have increased. He is now 30-years-old and looks like someone who found what he was looking for. His skills should maintain their level and he has all-star stuff – but Houston doesn’t score enough runs to hand Wandy 17-20. Look for 10 to 15 wins and a solid ERA, WHIP and K rate. Draft him in the same tier with, but after Lackey, Jurrjens, Weaver and Jimenez are gone – might slip because he’s off a lot of radars.
